Riding Car Specification

With the Riding Car we set out to provide the following:

• Matching riding car for Project Loco
• Easy to build and maintain
• Good price
• Easy to customize
• Negotiate tight curves
• Carry at least one adult

The Riding Car matches the size specification for the Project Loco it is 800mm long and 400 mm wide.

It has a 50x50mm angle chassis fitted with the same suspension components, CNC wheels and steel axles as the Project Loco. It is fitted with a clevis hitch at the front complete with draw bar. The floor is 12mm Plywood. Deeper buffer beams 100mmx400mmx6mm to match the Project Loco are standard.

The riding car is available in standard or custom lengths and widths. We can also provide advice on custom building if required.

We do not recommend the use of the riding car on elevated tracks, it is designed for use at ground level only.
