The Riding Car
The Riding Car is the ideal ground level companion to the Project Loco or any other small ground level locomotive. It uses the same chassis as the Project Loco and incorporates the same suspension components, CNC wheels and steel axles. These cars have been customised as slate trucks, coal trucks, goods wagons, a guards van and a caboose, hopper cars, ballast trucks and an unpowered Project Loco by some of their owners. Specification
The Riding Car matches the size specification for the Project Loco it is 800mm long and 400 mm wide. It has a 50x50mm angle chassis fitted with the same suspension components, CNC wheels and steel axles as the Project Loco.
It is fitted with a clevis hitch to the rear buffer beam.
The floor is 12mm Plywood. Deeper buffer beams 100mmx400mmx6mm to match the Project Loco are available if required.
